“ Omg the food! it's so authentic, totally homemade taste. I tried lasagna arrabiata, the portion was big. I thought I won't finish it, but I did. It's not oily as most, very light and balanced taste. Minestrone soup was good, full of veggies, since childhood I'm not a fan, but it was still tasty The staff are Italian, very friendly and warm people. I am so happy that i found this place. “ Casereccio is my go to Italian restaurant these days. It is run by a super friendly Italian woman and her staff are attentive and personable. I always start off my meal with a gelato (yes dessert first) and then I vary up my pasta choice but typically go with the bolognese with meatballs. The food is always al dente and perfectly cooked. The sauce and meatballs are perfectly balanced. I have had the cream sauce as well; it is also great however I do find it more rich. If you’re in the area it is worth a try and their operating hours flexible enough to allow pasta binging at any hour. ”

“ I recently celebrated my birthday here. I small gathering with closest friends, amazing food and welcoming service. This is my favorite italian place in Vancouver for years now. Super fresh pasta, delicious sauces, affordable dishes, and the gelato..yummmmmy! Got many of my friends “addicted” to their food. My go to’s are the bucatini all’Amatriciana, bucatini alla carbonara (with no cream just like in Rome!), and lasagna. But literally everything they make is delicious!! ”

“ We preferred it for dinner. Definitely make a reservation. It is very difficult to find a place. The employees are very friendly. Maria visits all the tables that have finished their meal and chats. We got lasagna with bolognese sauce. The most important feature of the place is that you combine the pasta you want with the sauce you want. In other words, you create the pasta plate according to your taste. We paid 63 dollars for 3 plates of pasta. There is a dessert menu and an alcohol menu. It was a very enjoyable evening. I recommend you to stop by. ”
